Pin-Up Rules and Regulations in Canada
These Terms set the legal rules for betting, bonuses, and services offered to eligible users in Canada. They apply to every account registered on the official website and mobile application. By continuing to use the platform, you agree to the conditions that govern each bet and event and confirm you meet eligibility requirements. Pin-Up may provide products only where gambling is allowed by provincial or territorial law.
General Terms
- Agreement and scope:
- By completing registration or continuing to use the services, you agree to these Terms, the General Betting Rules, the Privacy Policy, and any sport or event-specific rules. You should read all rules before placing bets or claiming any bonus.
- Pin-Up may issue house rules for particular markets, promotions, and bonuses, which form part of these Terms.
- Eligibility and access:
- You must be at least the legal age of majority in your province or territory of residence (18 or 19) and legally allowed to participate in online betting in Canada.
- You must not be located in a jurisdiction where our services are prohibited. In Ontario, you may only use services provided by an operator registered by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario; if that is not the case, you must not use the services.
- You confirm you are not self-excluded under any responsible gambling or provincial exclusion program.
- Account rules:
- One account per person, household, IP, and device. You must keep login credentials confidential and accept responsibility for all use of the account.
- Verification may be required at registration or any time after to confirm identity, age, residence, and payment ownership.
- Changes to Terms:
- We may modify these Terms. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. For material changes, we may notify you by email or in-account notice when feasible.
- Proper use of services:
- You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, use automated scripts or bots, scrape odds or data, or interfere with any event or market.
- You must not abuse bonuses or promotions, collude with others, or engage in arbitrage that breaches market rules.
- Content and intellectual property:
- All site content, including logos, software, data feeds, odds, and event information, is protected. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the site for personal, non-commercial betting.
- No redistribution, copying, scraping, framing, or republication of content without prior written consent.
- Suspension and termination:
- We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, responsible gambling concerns, fraud, chargebacks, AML risk, or where required by law.
- Pin-Up may void unsettled bets or restrict services if required for compliance or integrity reasons.
- Liability limits:
- Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free markets, or continuous availability of events.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for losses arising from your use of the services is limited to the lower of CAD 100 or the amount of your net deposits in the 30 days prior to the claim. We do not exclude liability where such exclusion is not allowed by law.
General Betting Rules
- Eligibility to place bets:
- Only verified, eligible users may place bets. Location checks may be required. Placing a bet confirms you have read applicable market rules.
- Bet acceptance and confirmation:
- A bet is accepted when it appears as “Placed” or “Accepted” in your account bet history with a unique reference. Pending or processing status means not yet accepted.
- For live betting, acceptance can be delayed. If odds change during placement, the bet may be rejected or offered again at updated odds.
- Minimum and maximum stakes:
- Minimum and maximum stake amounts are shown on the bet slip and can vary by market, event, and account history. We may adjust limits per user or market for integrity or risk reasons.
- Odds, settlement, and results:
- Bets are settled using the official result as published by the governing body of the event. Settlement rules specific to each sport or market apply.
- If a result is corrected or a participant is disqualified after official settlement, we follow posted settlement rules for that market.
- Dead-heat rules may apply where events end in a tie for a paid position.
- Event changes, postponements, and cancellations:
- If an event is postponed or abandoned, bets may stand for a defined period or be void, according to the relevant market rules published on site.
- If a market is offered in error or a palpable error occurs in odds or event data, we may void or correct affected bets to the fair odds that should have been offered.
- Betting restrictions and integrity:
- We may refuse, limit, or void bets where we suspect prohibited behaviour, including insider information, match-fixing, misuse of bonuses, syndicate betting, or use of automated tools.
- Duplicate accounts, multi-accounting, or coordinating bets across accounts may lead to cancellation and account action.
- Cancellations by users:
- Once accepted, a bet cannot be cancelled by you. If a market is settled in error, we may re-settle or void in line with our rules and applicable law.
- Payouts and corrections:
- Winnings are credited to your account balance when settlement completes. We may correct settlement errors and adjust your balance accordingly.
Payment Rules
- Funding your account:
- Supported deposit methods are shown in the Cashier and may include Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, approved bank transfers, and approved e-wallets. Availability varies by province and account status.
- Deposits must come from payment instruments held in your name. Third-party payments are not allowed.
- Limits, fees, and processing times are displayed in the Cashier before you confirm a transaction. Some issuers may apply their own fees.
- Withdrawals:
- We may require identity and payment verification before a withdrawal. Funds are ordinarily returned to the original payment method when possible.
- Processing time includes our review plus the time taken by your bank or provider. Typical review times are stated in the Cashier; timelines may extend during security checks or peak periods.
- Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts depend on method and account level. Details appear before you submit a request.
- Currency and reconciliation:
- Account currency is shown in your profile. If a transaction requires currency conversion, the rate and any applicable conversion costs are disclosed by the provider.
- Anti-fraud, AML, and responsible play checks:
- Transactions may be monitored for unusual patterns, bonus abuse, or AML risk. We may request source-of-funds documents. Unverified funds can be held until checks finish.
- Chargebacks and reversals:
- You must not request a chargeback without contacting Support. Unfounded chargebacks may result in account restriction, fee recovery, and reporting to payment providers.
- Operation cancellation and adjustments:
- We may cancel a deposit or withdrawal to comply with legal obligations, correct errors, or prevent fraud. If a deposit is reversed, bets placed using that deposit may be voided and bonuses removed where applicable.

Anti-Money Laundering
- Legal obligations:
- We operate AML and counter-terrorist financing controls consistent with Canadian requirements, including the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and related guidance where applicable.
- Know Your Customer (KYC):
- We verify identity, age, and residence and may screen for politically exposed persons and sanctions. Documents can include government ID, proof of address, and payment ownership evidence.
- Monitoring and detection:

- Reporting and records:
- Where required, we may file reports with relevant authorities and retain AML records for mandated periods.
- Consequences of non-compliance:
- Account restrictions, temporary holds, bet limits, blocking of transactions, or closure. Pin-Up may freeze funds where legally required and may void unsettled bets arising from prohibited activity.
